I found an interesting site called Lang-8 (http://lang-8.com/) Apparently you go get a journal and post in a language you are trying to learn and native speakers go and correct it for you. I thought it was cool, but I'd probably post there as often as I do here....

So I was pointed to a product on Amazon called Tuscan Whole Milk. Which appears to be regular ordinary milk. The reviews are quite entertaining. My favorite one:
"I'm not kidding, this stuff has potential to be at big as yoghurt or possible even cheese. What a great idea, and to put it in a container is genius."

11:17 pm - Full Metal Alchemist Anime Actually Good?
|
So Funimation started releasing this new Full Metal Alchemist anime where they're retelling the story 50x better than the first series did. The original was boring and I lost interest quickly. I like this new series as much as I originally liked the manga, the pacing seems to be much better and they explain things they didn't before....it's shocking.

That's right we're getting another Shin Megami Tensei game! Atlus is bringing over the rerelease of the first Persona for the PSP. We are officially up to our eyeballs in MegTen games.

5:54 pm - Persona 4
|
I started playing Persona 4, it is wonderful. The plot is excellent, but that's not what I'm here to talk about. It's the gameplay. The gameplay has changed a bit from P3, mostly for the better, some for the worse.
The good:
-You no longer get tired
-The dungeons are more interesting.
-There's more stuff to do during all hours of the day. I feel busier, more entertained.
-You can choose to control your party members (big plus, no more wasting MP)
The bad:
-Shuffle time....how I dread thee now....what they did to it was crimminal. Especially when they reward you with a try again. Not only is it much harder to pick cards, but you can lose all your exp, money, and items when you pick the wrong one....and freqently there is several of the wrong one.... And don't get me started on that post shuffle time random bonus thing....at least that's skippable though.
-Analyzing enemies isn't really very useful. You have to discover weaknesses yourself.
-I HATE the daytime background music....it's so annoying....and it's stuck in my head....>_<

So the instant the last episode of Code Geass came out a bunch of people went "ZOMG must write fanfic!!!!!!!111" Seriously like the first 50-100 fanfics listed on fanfiction.net (out of 820 or so) are about the last episode....and it came out 4 days ago.

So...Dunkin' Doughnuts has decided to put orange powdered suger on their powdered sugar donuts in honor of October. You know that powdered cheese that comes in the instant Mac and Cheese? Yeah that's what this stuff looks like. Powdered cheese doughnuts...yum yum.

Wow, that last entry was amazingly simple to create....that was kind of cool....I have no idea why it amuses me....though I do wonder why the text appeared as yellow, as the HTML says it's black...oh well.
In other random news. I heard that Genon has decided to stop publishing anime (They used to be Pioneer). I figured that a bunch of companies would go away eventually, but I never expected them to be the first....Not that I care too terribly, since I haven't bought anime in a looong time, but still it was interesting.

Ah...my poor neglected livejournal, I shall update you so that you do not get lonely.
